Simply British

Hi All

It's my turn to provide you with some inspiration for our fab challenge this month. I can't say that I'm the most patriotic of people but even I found myself moved by some of the scenes over the Jubilee weekend.

I decided to keep things simple and show off two of the featured powders by using them to make a flag. I cut a card to size, drew out the flag in pencil and then using an embossing pen started to emboss the sections, beginning with the red and working outwards. Each of the blue sections was done individually and a paint brush was used to get the lines reasonably even. I stamped a sentiment and added to the front. So there you have it quick and simple.

I was even inspired to make my calendar journal pages fit the Jubilee theme so do pop over to my blog and see what I came up with.

Another DT member will be along soon with more inspiration so do keep popping back and I hope that you'll play along with us.
