Synchronized swimming in the bath tub

Hello, Doris here. What a exciting time to be in the UK! I took the Olympics as my inspiration for today’s blue red and white post. As I have always been enthralled by synchronized swimming. Where else to start practicing but in your own bathtub!!

This is a journal I often give away as a present and this is No. 76 in my challenge to make 101 journals. Of course it is made of recycled carton. I cut the grid and mirror out on my trusty Silhouette. The bathtub is one of my favourite dies, it always fuels my imagination. The legs I draw by hand and I am getting better :)

Using embossing powders, I managed to get the bathroom feel. But I had to distress it a bit - cleaning is not a priority when one is practicing for the Olympics!
