Meet our 2021 Design Team

Creative Consultant
I'm known at WOW! HQ as the WOW! Guru. I've been with WOW! for over 11 years now and I design for them, teach for them and work for them!! I love everything about this Company and I'm proud to be on their design team with so many talented ladies. My style is very simple, I LOVE white space!! I've had my own Company for 16 years now, Sugar and Spice Crafts, I started off for the first 12 years as a bricks and mortar store then 3 years ago, closed the store and went on-line, this gave way to more time with WOW! I hope to inspire you along with all the other fab girls on here.

Creative Team Coordinator
I am a paper crafter from the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia. Mum of 3, wife and Instagram addict. My style is always evolving as I get too tempted with current trends and new products. Card making and scrapbooking has been such an important part of my life for so many years now and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing where it has taken me. From the early years of plenty of colour and bold embellishments, my style has changed and developed over the years with me and I now believe I am more about embracing white space and bringing the card to life with small pops of colour.

I currently live in Liverpool, though I have no Scouse accent as I am originally from the south of England.  I love to create; I never switch off from crafting even at work! When i'm not working in the hospital with my full-time job, you will often find me in my craft room creating and trying out new techniques and trends.  The best part of paper-crafting is sharing my makes, being able to show-case a skill/technique, as well as helping others and inspiring them to create.  My current style is a modern twist packed with plenty of technique, but I’m always trying out new things and incorporating other mediums. I love stamping, colouring and of course heat embossing, as well as creating dimension with dies and stencils. I love to use WOW! products as they have such a great range to choose from and can be used with many different techniques. To me, a card is never usually quite finished unless it has some embossing on it to take it up a notch!

Making pretty things with my hands are something I’m compelled to do daily. I’m a wife, and mom to 3 daughters and making keeps me centered. Color drives my creativity, whether it’s in the form of Copics, watercolor, inks, fabric, and of course, embossing powders. I’m a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) and have been making cards for 3 years. I love to play with supplies, learn through experimentation, and share techniques. I’d love for you to join me on my creative journey!

I am Dunja, 40, married and living in a small town in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.I am so happy that I can go a common way with WOW! as a guest. I show papercrafting, creations with stamps and scrapbooking is my passion - always with attention to detail. Since spring 2007 I show my creations, write about this & that from life, publish occasional how-to's and tutorials, and so on. My family always comes first. My hobby has also become a profession and I am very grateful for that.  We run a local and online shop. When I'm not doing crafting, I work in our family business, including spicy & fine food, I love the smell of the aromas when I come to work. Whether it's paper and paint or spices and teas. An interesting mixture, isn't it, smile. I love to meet new creative people. I have already met WOW! in person at B2B fairs and laughed a lot.

Hi there! I’m Erica, and I’m a self-confessed craft-a-holic. I’ve always been creative in one way or another, for as long as I can remember. Sewing, woodworking, metalworking, stitching and embroidery etc etc. The list goes on. My biggest love, however, is card making, and it has been for years now. I started with a Christmas card kit some 13 years ago and it was a slippery slope from thereon. I love colouring and seeing projects come to life in front of me, it speaks to my soul on a deep level. If I didn’t have a crafty outlet, I’m 100% sure I’d go nuts. One of my favourite techniques to do is heat embossing so this collaboration with WOW! Embossing Powder is a match made in heaven!

Heippa! My name is Riikka Kovasin and I am a mixed media crafter from Finland. I live in Helsinki with my darling husband and our two sweet daughters. Creating is my passion and a way of self-care. Besides family and crafts, my weeks are filled with a full-time job.

I was introduced to WOW! some seven years ago in the Netherlands during a workshop by Birgit Koopsen and I've been using them since. I love the different finishes the powders have and how you can play with the powders in so many ways. I have been doing all sorts of crafts my whole life. I really got into papercrafts after I found scrapbooking when my older daughter was about 6 months old - that's over 10 years ago. Since then my style has evolved more and more to mixed media. I absolutely adore getting my hands into paints and mediums! To me the process of creating is equally important than the finished project.

Nicci Battilana (Nicci Dot C A), is a Canadian Mixed Media Artist who creates colourful & playful portraits of big eyed characters with bold features.  She describes her art style as a mix of cartoon-like creatures drenched in Kool-Aid with a dash of Tim Burton and a wack load of thick black eyeliner.
Nicci spends most of her creative time working in her art journals or painting on canvas.
During her time off from work in 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Nicci decided to achieve one of her dreams. She has created & self-published an Art Tutorial Book themed on the fabulous story by Lewis Carroll, Alice In Wonderland. 'Art Adventures with Alice' can be easily purchased through her website .

Hej! I am Martina, aka Frau Pony. A 40-year-old craft addict from Switzerland.

I cannot imagine my life without being creative, it has always been a really important part of my life. Nowadays, I usually get up very early and either do some excercise or enjoy a cup of coffee on my craft table whilst everyone is still asleep.

I enjoy the "playing" part absolutely the most when I am crafting. Whether it is Cardmaking, Scrapbooking, Mixed Media or Art Journaling - Trying new techniques, materials and styles is so much fun!
That's why I am not able to stick to a specific style.

I am very much looking forward to add that extra sparkle to my projects as a part of the WOW! DT 2021!

Hi my name’s Ashlee. I’m from Tasmania, married and a mum to a beautiful little girl!! I enjoy spending time crafting and seeing what I can come up with using different products. My favourite colouring medium is Copic but I also love to use watercolours and pencils.

Hello everyone, my name is Daniel and I am 31 years old. I have been born in Germany but my family is from Spain (a small village near Madrid). I found my passion two years ago after a Job Interview. In this interview, the lady talked about scrapbooking and card making and since then, I can not stop doing crafty things. I also love traveling and meet new people. If you want to see more of my creations, just visit me on Instagram @danieldiazb88. Can't wait to meet you.

I'm Tasha, but I go by HandmadeByTasha most places.
I live in the UK, with my husband and two daughters.

I began crafting after I was taken ill in 2016 and I soon discovered the joy it brought me to be able to do something; I was unable to walk and my hands didn't do everything I wanted them to, but I could still achieve something and that was such a revelation.

In card making I found the opportunity to work with whatever medium I fancied that day, making whatever I felt inspired to do in that moment. I could make these small pieces of art that would go out into the world and hopefully put a smile on someone's face.

I am a cardmaker, designer, illustrator, watercolor painter, lettering artist – a life-long paper-lover. When my parents would take us kids to the store (in the 70’s), my siblings would take off to the toy department, and I would go to the stationary aisle where I would browse pens, pencils, paper, staplers and scissors. Now I have my own in-home studio! My two kiddos are grown and married, so it's just me, the hubs and two small doggies, living on the edge of Glacier National Forest in Montana.

An Arizona transplant, I currently live in Central Nebraska with my husband of 38 years, our water turtle (we have had him for over 25 years!) and our rescue Coon Hound, Sophie. We have two grown children and three grandchildren. By day I am the Executive Director of our Community Theatre. I love going on junk jaunts, finding interesting things to photograph, and I love traveling and finding off the beaten path places. I love the hearts of fellow crafters – such sweet people! I love mixed media, clean and simple, and everything in between. You can find me hanging out at my blog, Joy in a JAR, and on Facebook and Instagram by the same name!

Hi! My name is Debby and I happily live in a small town in The Netherlands.
I am a wife, mom of 4, including twin girls. I have been creative as long as I can remember.  I started cardmaking in 2018 and got sucked into it big time! Soon after that I started my Instagram page. Shared my creations and got to know what a fantastic community this is! It is so nice to inspire others this way and 'connect' with the world.
I think my style gets all over the place and I just love too many things haha. Though there is something I absolutely love and that is white. White spaces or elements on my cards gets my heart a bit more excited. Also, rainbows/rainbow colors have a special feel. And I love sparkly things..and...see there I go..I just love a whole lot! Hahaha.
I am super excited to play more with WOW products and hope to get you inspired!
