Yummy Yucky Peasoup

Hello there! It's Riikka here again this time with a very green creation! Almost from winter to spring, compared to my previous page!
I do most of my pages about my two girls. Or maybe I should say used to do most of my pages about them as I've been really focused on making pages about myself lately. It's partly because I realized how little I know about my mom before she became a mom and partly because a workshop I took called "My Details". So I've been documenting memories and little details about myself that just have popped into my mind. Those that might not come up in any conversation that together paint a picture of me. This page is one of those "popped" subjects.

As a little child I really disliked pea soup. It was yucky looking green mash and the taste wasn't that great either. But every now and then we had it anyway either in our family or in my grandmother's and I tasted some and then filled my tummy with bread.
Slowly though I …

Frozen fans - layout with steps

Hello there! It's Riikka from Paperiliitin blog here to share some guest inspiration! I want to thank for this opportunity! I adore Wow! powders and they are almost the only ones I use. The jar size in the powders is just right and the array of colors and effects is just amazing! For example in this layout I've used the Embossing Glitters which give the layout lovely wintery look!
I took a few photos along the way to show you how I created my background and added touches of the powders to top layers as well. If you want to read more about the story behind the layout, please just scroll further down!

I'm a mixed media style scrapbooker and crafter, so first thing I do is to make a background for my creation. This time I used three different embossing powder to make the first layer. I applied the ink through a stencil to the background paper and then used two turquoises and a white powder to add some sparkle to the piece.

To add a touch of color and let the white powder sh…

Our wish for you

A bright and happy hello!  Jen Roach here and today I have a cheery and bright layout to share with you.  I added some WOW! to my layout by stamping and embossing some stamped images on the background paper and also adding some glitter to the edges of the die cut paper.

I glittered the edges of the die cut paper using a WOW! Embossing Pen and some the Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder.  It's very quick and easy to get precise lines and add glitter anywhere you like!

You can also see a close up of how I added some stamped images and embossed with the WOW! Opaque white powder.

If you look closely you can see I added a bling circle I added around the "wish" that my daughter blew off the dandelion.  I was kinda proud that I managed to capture that in the photo :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Altered Title by: Sesil Cratin

I always have the hardest time finding the perfect color title to match my layouts. But now I can get a set of letter stickers and alter them with WOW! Embossing Powders. Here I used the Suzy West Earthtone Blueberry Regular to alter the chipboard letters to make the PERFECT Title!

I still do!

Hi there and welcome to the WOW! Embossing Powder Blog. Here is Birgit sharing a layout today. My husband and I are together for 26 years and in march we celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary.

Let me show you how I created this page. First I sprayed glimmer mist at the top of the paper and dragged the paint down the page using a bank card. I stamped the heart with Versamark and embossed it with WOW! Primary Ebony.

Then I stamped the heart a second time on scrap paper and cut out the inner part with a craft knife. Now I could use it as a mask laying it on top of the embossed heart.

I put a piece of Punchanella on top of the mask and filled the dots with Versamark using a piece of blending foam.

Then I took away the punchanella and the mask and embossed the dots with Suzy West Honey.

After that I put the mask back on top and sprayed the heart with glimmer mist. The embossed parts work as a resist. If I would have put a piece of kitchen paper on top after spraying the dots would have been t…

Glitter Fun With WOW!

Hello all, Donna here today.  I hope you have been enjoying all the amazing projects that are being posted up on WOW.  They truly are totally stunning.  Today I am going to share a layout that I created using some YUMMY Neutral Ultra Shimmer, Embossing powders and some very cute 'Is it a bird' stamp set.
Wee Ruby at the moment had seamed to of stolen all my scrapping time.  I have a few photos that I just love and these are some of them.  These photos were taken on Christmas Day and its her first time at blowing bubbles.  :-)

Wow Earthtone Powders and Masculine Scrapbook Pages

It is no secret that I love the earth tone collection of embossing powders from Wow Embossing Powders. I think it is the cook in me, with names like nutmeg, pepper and honey, how can you not like them right?

Hello everyone, Erika Taylor here today to share with you a scrapbook layout I created using Quick Quotes Tin Type papers and the earth tone collection from Wow (with a little Copper thrown into the mix).

I used these embossing powders for stamping, masking and to highlight the chipboard alpha letters. First a photo of the letters. I used Bloody Mary Powder Puff ink, then the copper.

For the envelope, I decided to emboss the entire thing. (the envelope was originally white with red polka dots) Then I used the postage stamp from Wow to add a little more interest.

This next photo really shows how well Wow Embossing Powders work with masks. I used the Tim Holtz Timeworks masks to create the background paper.

Now for the final project. Do ya wanna see? are ya sure? Well here it is, a layou…
