The first technique is the easiest of the two and you'll most likely have the supplies to hand if you already heat emboss as will be using embossing ink to paper method. Vintage Chic Heat Embossing with Jenny - VIDEO

Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone is having a fun week - and thankful it's Friday! I know I am :) To celebrate the weekend, and to pick up the glamour theme of my last post, I've decided to get my 'vintage chic' on.  We are focusing on WOW! pearl embossing powders this month, and I just love the look of the Gold Pearl on black cardstock.  With the right background or die, it looks like vintage lace or a cocktail dress.

I've created two cards today featuring black cardstock and the Gold Pearl embossing powder, as well as a touch of Clear Gloss embossing powder.  You can check out the video over on the WOW! YouTube channel:

For my backgrounds on my cards, I used the Simon Says Stamp Modern Rose Background stamp.  I heat embossed it on black cardstock with the WOW! Gold Pear.  On another piece of cardstock I heat embossed it with the Clear Gloss embossing powder.   I LOVE how this shows up on the black cardstock (it's gorgeous on white too).

Another little trick - you …

Blue Pearl Card with Dana

Hello, WOW! friends!

It's Dana here and I'd like to share another *Pearl* card with you today. I used my favorite summer color combo and here is what I came up with.

To start, I dry embossed background panel onto sky card stock using Altenew Doodled Lace Cover Die. For this, I sandwiched the die between card stock and embossing pad and then ran it through die cutting machine.

Then, I rubbed the whole panel with WOW! Embossing Pad. I sprinkled WOW! Blue Pearl Embossing Powder and heat set it.

Next, I die cut big sentiment from white card stock using Altenew Thinking of You Die. I heat embossed it with WOW! High Heels Embossing Powder. I then glued it on the blue pearl panel.

To finish, I embellished pearl and other elements from Trinity Stamps here and there as shown in the picture.

Thank you for joining me today. Click HEREif you need more *Pearl* inspiration and I hope you joined with our Facebook monthly challenge as well. Happy crafting!

3 ways to use Colour Blends Embossing Powders - Video Tutorial with Verity

Hello, it's Verity with another video and blog post as a Creative team member for WOW!   Colour blend embossing powders are such embossing powders to use and WOW! Embossing powders has a whole host to choose from. Each time you use them you get visually stunning and unique patterns that can really take a design up a notch. Today' I'm showing you 4 easy ways to use them in your paper crafting, but they would also make perfect powders for mixed media projects.
In today's video, I'm using 3 different colour blend powders, Black magic, Perissa and Fizz from the Confetti trio. These powders contain a mixture of colours but also a mixture of different size embossing powder - a mixture of fine/normal and chunky powders. It is so fun to see the chunky powders melt and mixed into the finer normal powder which is often the base colour of the pot.
