Design Team

Hi Everyone!

We feel very honoured to have such an amazing Design Team, we just know they're going to inspire you and have you grabbing your WOW! products and creating amazing things !!!

Hi everyone! I am Ankita. I am from Gurgaon, which is a city right next to New Delhi, the capital of India. I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old. I love to craft, bake, read and tend to my garden. I was studying to be an Actuary but things are in a hiatus at the moment because of baby case and crafting helps take the edge off. I am also a fitness junkie, not a sports enthusiast however. I love how card making has connected me to such fabulous people globally. Truly, my first ever 'The World is Flat' experience and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

My name is Dana and I live in South Korea.

I've always been a paper crafter since I can remember and I started especially cardmaking in mid-2015. I love to try a variety of styles in my cards based on creative ideas. Generally, I choose a style which can show my creativity well in each cards.

As a big fan of WOW embossing powders, I'm so happy to join WOW design team! Hope you enjoy my creations I'll share with you here.

'I live in Oxford, England - the city of dreaming spires. I spend my working days in a creative environment and in my spare time I can usually be found at my crafting table or with a camera in hand, snapping photos of my family and two oversized cats. I began making cards and sharing them on my blog in 2015, and I quickly became hooked! My card style is varied and I adore everything from florals to cute critters to graphic designs.'

"I'm Jaine with an i and I live in a green, forest covered part of Europe called Luxembourg where I've lived for over twenty years with my hubby and three daughters, now grown up. We've a crazy dog called Cooper who's half Australian Shepherd and half Border Collie but the Border Collie half is from South Africa where they breed them big so he's the size of a baby rhino!!  Lovable and kind but clumbsy and heavy.

Mixed media art and book making are my passions. I contribute to Craft Stamper magazine which I've been doing for about six years now as well as scrapbooking and sewing magazines in the past.  I love trying out new materials and ideas so my style is always changing. I love colour and lots of it so I'm very happy to be able to work with the gorgeous colour range of the WOW products."

Jo is a paper crafter from the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia. Mum of 3, wife and Instagram addict.

My style is always evolving as I get too tempted with current trends and new products.

Card making and scrap booking has been such an important part of my life for so many years now and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing where it has taken me.
From the early years of plenty of colour and bold embellishments, my style has changed and developed over the years with me and I now believe I am more about embracing white space and bringing the card to life with small pops of colour.
I’m passionate about all things card making and I’m happiest when I’m in my studio creating!

I have been lucky enough to have been in the craft industry for over 25 years and there is nothing I like better than to share my ideas, hints and tips and to inspire others to give card making a go.

Over the years I’ve written 5 best selling card making books, had numerous articles printed in national Craft magazines, demonstrated at many retail shows up and down the country and absolutely loved tutoring at workshops too.  Its fabulous to meet lots of crafters face to face, share your ideas with them and watch them create their own cards, whilst having lots of fun and laughter along the way.

I have also been on craft shopping TV, which is great fun.  Seeing how a programme is put together, all the work before we actually go to air and then the excitement of the show too.

More recently I’ve loved having the opportunity to design my own range of products - from paper pads to die cut elements and even sets of stamps from my own hand drawings, which is very exciting.

I can’t wait to be part of WOW! Embossing Powder Design Team, to sharing my ideas and hoping to inspire people.

I'm known at WOW! HQ as the WOW! Guru. I've been with WOW! for over 7 years now and I design for them, teach for them and work for them !!

I love everything about this Company and I'm proud to be on their design team wth so many talented ladies.

My style is very simple, I LOVE white space !!

I've had my own Company for 15 years now, Sugar and Spice Crafts, I started off for the first 12 years as a bricks and mortar store then 3 years ago, closed the store and went on-line, this gave way to more time with WOW!

I hope to inspire you along with all the other fab girls on here.

Hello everyone! My name is Raluca Vezeteu and I am a crafter from Romania.  I have been involved with paper crafting since 2013. I have a passion for cardmaking and I love die cutting, coloring, stamping and coloring. My main style is Clean and Simple, but I also love creating scenes or floral designs on my cards which is why WOW Embossing products are so perfect for me! I love trying new things and techniques and love using multiple colors on my projects. I hope I'll inspire you with my projects and that you'll enjoy my cards and tutorials. Stay fabulous and sparkle away!

"Moikka! My name is Riikka Kovasin, I'm a mixed media influenced crafter from Finland. I live in Helsinki, the capital, with my supporting, awesome husband and our two sweet daughters. I've been doing all sorts of crafts my whole life, but really got into papercrafts after I found scrapbooking when my older daughter was born back in 2009. Since then my style has evolved to more mixed media direction.

I love to do layouts, canvases, altered projects and ATCs. To me the process of creating is equally important than the finished project. When I craft I can put the everyday life aside and let loose. I've been fortunate enough to get into different teams and can't wait to play in the WOW team! They are the only embossing powders I've been using since I discovered them years ago. I'm honored about this opportunity and hope I can inspire you with the projects I do!"

My name is Ola and I come from a small town in Lithuania, although both of my parents are from Ukraine. I finished school , studied industrial engineering in University in Kaunas, Lithuania and met my husband who is my soul mate and best friend.
In 2001 I achieved an Honours degree and was offered a Summer break in London. I came here to visit, but never went back. I fell in love with this country!
Craft is my passion and I hope to inspire you.
Hi there, I'm Zsoka, I'm Hungarian but I've been living in Germany for 13 years. I live with my Dutch boyfriend and our 9-year-old son, Maxim, who makes an appearance on 99,9% of my scrapbook layouts! I've been crafting all my life, I went through many many crafts before I settled (for now) on scrapbooking in 2015.

My main focus is 12x12 layouts, however this past year I've been making more and more off-the-page projects and most recently more cards too. I'm enjoying a bit of variety at the moment! My latest obsession with cards started when I bought myself a Cricut last summer as well as a few stamp and die sets from Pinkfresh Studio! Then I discovered Concord and 9th and there was no stopping me ha! I'm very much of a rookie when it comes to card making, but I hope I can inspire you in some way nonetheless!

I've been using WOW embossing powders since the very beginning of my scrapbooking journey, I just love them! I'm so honored and thrilled to be here with such talented ladies - thank you WOW for this awesome opportunity!

Handy Stamp Storage Idea

Hello everyone... Happy Tuesday! :D

It's Sarah here with today's blog post created for our Monochromatic theme.

I don't know about you, but I always find I need to use stamps from a mixture of stamp sets and I thought it would be easier if I didn't have to slide each stamp set in and out of the packets all of the time.

I have a bunch of empty CD cases that I had almost thrown out but thankfully I hadn't as they turned out to be the perfect solution! The part that holds the CD easily popped out so I could then position my different stamp sets within them.

I found an old wooden CD box but it had no lid and as all clear acrylic stamps are best stored out of the light, I decided I would make a box lid for it... not just a plain lid though... a Wow Embossed box lid!

Here are brief instructions on how to make it:

Using pearl silver card, I created a square to the size that I needed (145mm) and added 30mm wide rectangles around the square adding in some t…

Life's A Beach

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you're all well and getting very creative this month!
As this month's challenge is summer and I live on an island it seemed only natural that my inspiration card would feature sea and sand.
To create my beach scene I started off with a piece of pale blue card and a rubbed a Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad across the top several times. I then sprinkled WOW Peppermint Tea Powder and Under The Sea Glitter over the top, tapped off the excess and melted with a heat tool. I created the sand underneath using Gold Pearl Powder.

For the sea I ran a line of PVA glue in the middle of the sky and sand with my finger, sprinkled with Under The Sea Glitter and melted with a heat tool. For the waves I added small areas of PVA straight from the nib of the bottle when added Opaque White Powder.

The birds and sentiment I have used Opaque British Summer Powder which is one of my favourite new powders, great colour and great name!
Finally, I added beach in…
